Further proof that the world is no fun anymore – even if you’re a cocaine dealer.

Because if you live in Colombia and all the McDonald’s franchises are taken, you might think about plumping your money into a drug cartel.

And you’d be in luck, because the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) have a couple of franchises for sale.

That’s cocaine franchises, giving you the right to own and operate FARC’s illegal production facilities.

FARC’s selling up because its worried about the future of Bolivian marching powder, given the current positive state of peace negotiations between itself and the Colombian government.

But before you dive in, best check out your competition in the bidding.

The Sinaloa drug cartel has already snapped up a few, and Sinaloa is Mexican (read “beheads opposition).

Headed by Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, it marks the first time a Mexican cartel has stopped relying on importing processed coke and headed straight for the source.
